KOV IT

KOV IT Awareness was developed to complement the local Council, Government and the NHS’s efforts in the fight against COVID19. It started in September 2020 and ended in December 2020.

We worked with BAME women especially those of African descent since we have worked with some of them raising ABUSE awareness in the past. We disseminated government guidance with regards to COVID19 regulations by running workshops online and limited physical meetings outdoors, practising social distancing as per NHS guidelines.

Furthermore, the project provided emotional and moral support for BAME women suffering the side effects COVID19 such as loneliness, loss of livelihoods and loss of loved ones. We provided encouragement and positivity to mitigate the impact of the pandemic.

The project enabled us to provide custom tailored assistance to women from different BAME backgrounds. This was done by providing support in their respective native languages that are not English. This was of significant value to migrants for which English is a foreign language.

This project was funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.

Getting Women Connected

This is a project that was set up in 2019 in the United Kingdom, particularly the West Midlands. This was proudly funded by the National Lottery Fund.

It was established to support women through workshops and open events to build and develop women facing social isolation and loneliness.

Plaxedes.

This is a lady in Ruwa that Princess Connect has been supporting. We managed to raise money through fundraising and donations to buy her a wheelchair. We continue to support her and her family financially to help with medical bills and other household needs as she continues to recover. Please get in touch if you'd like to help Plaxedes and her family in any way.

Children.

We are currently raising money to help buy Takudzwa a pair of prosthetic legs and help with his ongoing medical expenses.

Princess Connect loves to give less privileged children a reason to smile. One way we do this is by throwing them parties.

Please get in touch if you'd like to get involved with any of these projects.
